This morning we decided to skip Zion National Park and head straight to Bryce Canyon, and we are so glad that we did!
We left Daisy in the hotel (we're both kind of excited we get to sleep in our own king sized beds 😂) and hiked the Rim and part of the Navajo Loop Trail from Sunset Point. We worked up an appetite and ate dinner at
Bryce Canyon Pines Restaurant, where we each enjoyed a hot open faced turkey sandwich (reminiscent of home and Alyssa's Dad), and shared a slice of their famous (peach) pie.
Had we known, we probably would have stayed another night
here to explore the Canyon and the area some more, but tomorrow we head to Arches. Until then, Goodnight from Utah!

The stone columns called hoodoos are carved by ice and rain. For about 200 days a year, snow and ice will melt in the afternoon and freeze at night. This expands and pushes the rocks apart creating the different hoodoos and windows that can be found in the canyon's amphitheaters. |
